We chanced upon this place while strolling around Chiang Mai on the day before we flew home. It’s an antique shop cum riverside cafe cum guesthouse called Regina Riverside Guesthouse. From the main road, it’s an unassuming antique shop no different from the rest along the street. Tucked away behind the shop though is a secluded cafe that has a nice view of the river. As you enter the cafe, you’re greeted with a selection of 40s/50s rockabilly and swing tunes. The cafe was lovely and relaxing but it was the vintage charm that drew us in.
One thing about this place – you better love cats as there’re plentiful here! In fact, they are not bothered by human presence and would rather mind their own business. Cat business, what’s that? Well, I’ve made a video compilation of some ‘cat business’ that went about during our time there. If you love cats, you’ll love it! =)
